Julio Cesar Rodriguez
General Manager
Julio César Rodríguez is a chemical engineer with 35 years of experience in the oil, gas and rubber industries. Throughout his career he led research and development groups that dealt with heavy crude, corrosion control, processes, water treatment, chemical surface treatments and quality at various companies, such as NALCO, HOECHST and BASF. His work has resulted in patents, and he is a regular instructor at training courses in Latin America. He is the founder, owner, president, and scientific director of SOAN Laboratorios S.A.S., a company dedicated to scientific research in the area of physicochemical sciences, and owner of the registered trademark AFLatex.
Prof. Tim A Osswald
Co-General Manager
Prof. Tim A. Osswald co-directs the Polymer Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he has taught and done research in the field of polymer engineering for over 30 years. He is also an honorary professor at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany and the National University in Bogotá, Colombia. He is on the Advisory Board of the Latin-American Society of Rubber Technology Society (SLTC), and he and his family own and operate a rubber plantation in Colombia. He has authored over 400 technical papers and a dozen books in the field of polymer engineering. Professor Osswald serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of SABIC and served as an advisor to the Colombian President in the creation of a Ministry for Science and Technology.
German Pardo
Director of Sales
Germán Pardo Morales has 30 years of experience in international business dealing in the high technical specifications natural bovine leather industry for large footwear factories, casual and school footwear, as well as safety boots. Furthermore, he has dealt with product development and market expansions in 27 countries, for Curtiembres Bufalo of the Misky and Gilinsky Group. Currently he is General Manager of Soan Laboratorios SAS.
Eric P Adler
Director of Finance
Eric Adler has 12 years of experience in the finance industry providing asset management, tax and financial consulting services to his clients. He is currently the owner and founder of Adler Financial LLC, a registered investment advisory (RIA) firm providing asset management along with personal and business planning and consulting. He has assisted many clients in making financial, tax and structure-related decisions as it comes to their business operations. Eric is also an Enrolled Agent as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States of America. He provides tax planning, preparation and filing, as well as representation services to clients through his firm, Adler Financial LLC.
Allen J Roman
Director of Science & Technology
Allen Jonathan Román is the Chief Engineer of the Polymer Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he co-supervises all polymer engineering research projects and is post-doctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory. He works in merging artificial intelligence and polymer science for accelerating materials development, which include natural rubber formulations, and in facilitating the development of smart manufacturing systems. His work has resulted in a novel 3D printer patent, multiple world-renowned scientific publications and in numerous conference presentations. He has earned the trust within industry to be a reviewer for numerous scientific journals and is part of the Machine Learning Scientific Committee for the Polymer Processing Society’s annual conference.
